HOW TO ADJUST THE IMAGE® 5.2 The instructions below describe how each part of the IMAGE 5.2 can be adjusted. Refer to the exercise guide accompanying this manual to see how the IMAGE 5.2 should be set up for each exercise. IMPORTANT: When attaching the lat bar or nylon strap, make sure that the attachments are in the correct starting position for the exercise to be performed. If there is any slack in the cables or chain as an exercise is performed, the effectiveness of the exercise will be reduced. CHANGING THE WEIGHT SETTING To change the weight setting of either weight stack, insert a Weight Pin (100) under the desired Weight (75). Be sure to insert the Weight Pin until the bent end of the Weight Pin is touching the Weights, and turn the bent end downward. The weight setting of either weight stack can be changed from 10 pounds to 200 pounds, in increments of 10 pounds. Note: Due to the cables and pulleys, the amount of resistance at each exercise station may vary from the weight setting. Refer to the accompanying WEIGHT RESISTANCE CHART to find the approximate amount of resistance at each weight station. ATTACHING THE ROW BAR OR NYLON STRAP TO THE LOW PULLEY STATION Note: Before you use the low pulley station, the leg lever must be locked (see LOCKING THE LEG LEVER on page 28). Attach the Row Bar (93) to the Curl Cable (106) with a Cable Clip (102). For some exercises, the Chain (101) should be attached between the Row Bar and the Curl Cable with two Cable Clips. Adjust the length of the Chain between the Row Bar and the Curl Cable so the Row Bar is In the correct starting position for the exercise to be performed. The Nylon Strap (103) can be attached in the same manner. 0 100 75 0 a 106 101 103 SE 102 93 27
