Back of TV Digital sound system  Optical audio cable Connecting an FM radio antenna To connect an FM radio antenna • Connect the FM antenna (provided) to the FM antenna jack on the side of your TV. Side of TV FM antenna Digital output jack 3 Connect the other end of the cable to the DIGITAL OUTPUT jack on the back of your TV. Note The DIGITAL OUTPUT jack works with digital TV channels only. Connecting headphones To connect headphones: • Connect the headphones to the headphone jack on the side of your TV. Side of TV Note Loud noise can damage your hearing. When using headphones, use the lowest volume setting that still lets you hear the sound. Notes For best reception, fully extend the FM antenna. Keep the FM antenna as horizontal as possible. If FM reception is poor in your area, us an outdoor FM antenna (not provided) and connect it to your TV with 75 ohm coaxial cable (not provided). To listen to FM radio: 1 Turn on your TV, then press INPUT. The INPUT SOURCE menu opens. 2 Press or to select FM, then press ENTER. Tip You can also press FM on the remote control. Turning on your TV for the first time Before you use your TV the first time, make sure to remove the protection film from the back cabinet, otherwise the ventilation openings will be blocked, which may cause overheating and other serious problems. To configure your TV: 1 Make sure that you have inserted the battery in the remote control, connected the antenna to the TV, and connect the AC power. 2 Press (Power), then wait several seconds. Connecting a digital sound system
To connect a digital sound system:
1
Make sure that your TV’s power cord is
unplugged and the digital sound system is
turned off.

Connect a digital optical audio cable to the
S/PDIF IN
jack on the digital sound system.
3
Connect the other end of the cable to the
DIGITAL OUTPUT
jack on the back of your TV.
Connecting headphones
To connect headphones:

Connect the headphones to the headphone jack
on the side of your TV.
Connecting an FM radio antenna
To connect an FM radio antenna

Connect the FM antenna (provided) to the FM
antenna jack on the side of your TV.
To listen to FM radio:

Turning on your TV for the
first time
Before you use your TV the first time, make sure to
remove the protection film from the back cabinet,
otherwise the ventilation openings will be blocked,
which may cause overheating and other serious
problems.
To configure your TV:
