Picture Mode Brightness Contrast Color Tint Sharpness PICTURE AUDIO CHANNELS SETTINGS RADIO Standard 70 40 60 0 -16 MOVE OK SELECT ENTER MENU PREVIOUS Adjust settings to affect picture quality EXIT EXIT 2 Press or to highlight SETTINGS, then press or ENTER. The SETTINGS menu opens. 3 Press or to highlight Time, then press ENTER. The Settings - Time submenu opens. 4 Press or to highlight Date/Time, then press ENTER. The Time - Date/Time submenu opens. PICTURE AUDIO CHANNELS SETTINGS RADIO Settings • Time • Date/Time Mode Time Zone Daylight Savings Year Month Day Auto Atlantic Off 2008 OCT 28 MOVE OK ENTER SELECT MENU PREVIOUS If automatic, options are automatically set by TV source EXIT EXIT 5 Press or to highlight Mode, then press ENTER. A menu opens. 6 Press or to select Manual (to set the options manually) or Auto (the options are automatically set by the TV signal source). 7 Press ENTER to close the menu. 8 Press or to highlight Time Zone, then press ENTER. The Time - Time Zone menu opens. 9 Press or to select your time zone. You can select Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii, Atlantic, or Newfoundland. 10 Press ENTER to close the menu. 11 If your viewing area observes daylight savings time, press or to highlight Daylight Savings, then press ENTER. The Time - Daylight Savings menu opens. 12 Press or to select On, then press ENTER to close the menu. 13 If you selected Manual for Mode, make the setting as follows: • Set the year, month, and day by pressing or to highlight Year, Month, or Day, then press or to adjust the setting. • Set the time by pressing or to highlight Hour, then press or to move the highlight to the hour, minute, or AM/PM field. • Press or to adjust the setting. 14 Press EXIT to close the menu. Setting the sleep timer You can specify the amount of time you want your TV to wait before it automatically turns off. To set the sleep timer: 1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens. Settings • Time Date/Time Sleep Timer PICTURE AUDIO CHANNELS SETTINGS RADIO Off MOVE OK ENTER SELECT MENU PREVIOUS Set a time for the TV to turn off automatically EXIT EXIT 4 Press or to highlight Sleep Timer, then press ENTER. A menu opens. 5 Press or to select the amount of time before your TV turns off automatically. Note To turn off the sleep timer, select Off. 6 Press EXIT to close the menu.
