Enterprise
Blade Server Family Component Enabling Specification for information on how to order
thermal grease.
Complete the following steps to replace thermal grease:
a.
Place the heat sink on a clean work surface.
b.
Wipe all thermal grease from the bottom of the heat sink.
c.
Using the thermal grease syringe, dispense the entire 0.02 mL (0.5 gram) of thermal grease
to the center of the microprocessor.
NOTE
Do not touch the thermal grease on the microprocessor. Touching the thermal grease will
contaminate it.
11.
