Reset the Server Remotely Selecting Reset from the Action Menu generates the Reset dialog so that you can remotely reset the server with POST reset options. Figure 16. Reset Dialog Options available in the dialog are: • System Reset: Resets the server with the selected POST reset options. This operation is not allowed if the server is configured in restricted mode for EMP operations. • Option Group: Sets the POST reset option that will be effective after reset. The options are EMP active or BIOS redirection. The default selection is EMP active. • Cancel: Exits the dialog with no action taken. • Help: Displays dialog-level help information. Phonebook The EMP console provides a phonebook, a support plug-in that stores names and numbers of servers in a list that can be updated by adding, modifying, or deleting entries.
