Using the imprinter Print position: hardware Imprinter operation is controlled via the hardware and software. To print a string on the scanned document, adjust the position of the print head carriage according to the size of the sheets that you want to scan. Print positions Carriage tab • Move the carriage to align the carriage tab with one of the marks that appears on the scale on the imprinter. For the print string to appear on the right side of the page, move the carriage to the right side of the scale. For the imprint to appear on the left side of the page, move the carriage to the left side of the scale. NOTE: If the carriage is not properly aligned with one of the marks on the scale, the imprinter will not print on the document. The following chart shows the position of the imprint in reference to the document sheet being scanned. Using the imprinter
Imprinter operation is controlled via the hardware and software.
Print position: hardware
To print a string on the scanned document, adjust the position of the
print head carriage according to the size of the sheets that you want to
scan.

Move the carriage to align the carriage tab with one of the marks that
appears on the scale on the imprinter. For the print string to appear
on the right side of the page, move the carriage to the right side of the
scale. For the imprint to appear on the left side of the page, move the
carriage to the left side of the scale.
NOTE: If the carriage is not properly aligned with one of the marks on
the scale, the imprinter will not print on the document. The
following chart shows the position of the imprint in reference to
the document sheet being scanned.
Make sure the document being scanned is the correct size for
the printing position or the imprinter will not print on the
document.
