NOTE • Every time when replacing each color of the toner cartridge, clean the electrostatic charger wire of the corresponding color. • Move the charger-cleaning tool slowly all the way to the end of either way. 27

•
If the lock lever is hard to rotate,

Cleaning of the electrostatic charger wire

Electrostatic charger wire: when toner cartridge/Y,M,C,K is replaced

Procedure
1.
Open the front door.
2.
Slowly pull out the charger-cleaning
tool [1] as far as possible.
Next, slowly push in the charger-
cleaning tool as far as possible.
Repeat the above operations three
times.
NOTE
•
Every time when replacing each
color of the toner cartridge, clean
the electrostatic charger wire of the
corresponding color.
•
Move the charger-cleaning tool
slowly all the way to the end of
either way.
