5.2 Image Quality Adjustment Carry out the adjustment continuously in sequence. If you have interrupted the adjustment, select "2. Gamma Automatic Adj." to execute automatic gamma adjustment each time before restarting calibration. For example, if you have interrupted the adjustment at the end of the "3. Density Balance Adjustment" processing, select "2. Gamma Automatic Adj." - "4-a. Color Density Control (with Relay Unit RU-509 mounted)" or "4-b. Calibration by image controller (without Relay Unit RU-509 mounted)" to restart the adjustment. If sufficient adjustment results are not obtained via daily maintenance, also carry out the adjustment in this order. For details about the setting procedure, refer to the HTML User's Guide. NOTICE If the setting value is changed in the [Custom Screen], hue may fluctuate significantly. To manage the hue fluctuation, specify the standard image quality following the procedure if you changed the setting value. Particular adjustment If a particular adjustment is required, for example, before printing out an image with a higher level of quality or when the expected chromogenic effect has not been obtained as expected, adjust the following items: Adjustment order 1 2 3 4 Menu item Description Tips Gamma Automatic Adj. Image Quality Adjustment

Carry out the adjustment continuously in sequence. If you have interrupted the adjustment, select "2. Gamma Auto-

matic Adj." to execute automatic gamma adjustment each time before restarting calibration. For example, if you have
