Client Configuration 14. Use the right mouse button to click on the icon with the name of the installed Printer Driver and select Properties from the menu. The Properties dialogue box will open. 15. Click on the Details tab and then on Add Port.... The Add Port dialogue box will open. 16. Place a check in the check box next to Other. Then click PrtGink in the list below to highlight it. 17. Click on OK. The Add new Port dialogue box will open. 18. Enter the desired port name in the Enter new port name field and the IP address for the Server in the Server IP/Name field. 19. Click on Get Printer. "Printing System (G)" will appear in the Printer list. Click on OK to close the dialogue box. 3 Removing the Printer Driver software If you no longer plan to use this printer with your computer, you can remove the Printer Driver by carrying out the following procedure. The procedure to delete the Printer Driver is the same for both the PCL and PostScript drivers. 1. Start up Windows 95. * Quit all other applications that may be open. 2. Continue the removal procedure by following each of the steps described on- screen. * If the icon with the name of this printer is removed from the Printers folder, removal of the Printer Driver software was successful. Removing the Printer Driver software
If you no longer plan to use this printer with your computer, you can remove the Printer Driver by carrying
out the following procedure. The procedure to delete the Printer Driver is the same for both the PCL and
PostScript drivers.
1. Start up Windows 95.
* Quit all other applications that may be open.
2. Click on
Start
in the Task Bar. The
Start
menu will be displayed.
3. Use the mouse to point to
Settings
and click on
Printers
in the submenu that is displayed. The
Printers
folder will open.
4. Use the right mouse button to click on the icon for this printer. A pop-up menu will be displayed.
5. Click on
Delete
. Continue the removal procedure by following each of the steps described on-
screen.
* If the icon with the name of this printer is removed from the
Printers
folder, removal of the Printer
Driver software was successful.
(2) Printer Driver for Windows NT 4.0
The Printer Driver converts data created by the Windows software application in the Client computer into a
Page Description Language (PCL or PostScript) that tells the Server how to carry out the print job properly.

to close the
