Connecting to an MFD acting as an access point If you don't have access to a wireless network, you can connect your phone/tablet directly to the MFD when this is set up as an access point. 168 The MFD must be in access point mode to broadcast itself. If not already in access point mode, you will be asked to switch to this mode when you select the connect option in the dialog.
