Powerline MU • Modem 1, Modem 2, and Gateway have the same NEK. Procedure: Figure 49 Typical Set Up for the Modem Repeater To connect Modem 2 to the Gateway, first enable Modem 1 as a Repeater (see Figure 50). Procedure: Figure 50 Operating Mode (Repeater) • Log into Modem 1 and open the "Operating Mode" menu on the left hand panel. • Select the radio button for "Repeater Mode." • Enter the MAC address of Modem 2 into the text input box. Select Apply. • Log into Modem 2, and open the "Operating Mode" menu on the left hand panel. • Select the "Use with Repeater" radio button and select Apply. Note: Modems will reboot when changing the Operating Mode. Page 71 of 112

Procedure:
To connect Modem 2 to the Gateway, first enable Modem 1 as a Repeater (see Figure
50).
