Main menu Sub menu PICTURE/SOUND PICTURE PICTURE MODE NR SOUND Functions Adjusts the contrast, brightness, sharpness, color and tint. Sets the picture mode according to the VIDEO environment and image software. Reduces noise visible in image. Sets the bass, treble and left/right balance. Main menu SCREEN Sub menu WIDE ADJ. RGB ADJ. OSM ADJ. Functions Adjusts the wide screen's vertical position and size. Adjusts the computer image's vertical and horizontal positions, fine picture, picture adj. Adjusts the vertical and horizontal positions of the menu display. Main menu FUNCTION Sub menu POWER MGT RGB SELECT WIDE RGB OSM RESET Functions Sets the monitor for use as an energy-saving display when used with a computer. Sets whether to use the RGB still mode or moving picture (video) mode when a computer is connected. Switches the screen when 852 dot x 480 line signals are inputted (when set to "ON"). Normally set to "AUTO". Turns the on-screen display (channel number, screen mode, etc.) off (when set to "OFF"). When set to "ON", the on-screen display is displayed. Resets all the settings (PICTURE, SOUND, WIDE adjustments, RGB adjustments, OSM adjustments) to the factory default values. Main menu INFORMATION Sub menu FREQUENCY COMMUNICATION LANGUAGE COLOR SYSTEM Functions Used to check the frequency and synchronizing polarities of the signal currently being inputted. Sets the main menu display for the connected equipment (monitor or selector). Sets the language of the menus (Japanese, English, German, French, Swedish, Italian or Spanish). Sets the VIDEO format (PAL, SECAM, 4.43 NTSC or 3.58 NTSC). 18
