Adjusting the treble, bass and left/right balance The treble, bass and left/right balance can be adjusted to suit your tastes. Example: Adjusting the bass Press the MENU button on the remote controller to display the MAIN MENU on the screen, then... 1. Use the v and w buttons to select "PICTURE/ SOUND", then press the "OK" button. The "PICTURE/SOUND" screen appears. 2. Use the v and w buttons to select "SOUND", then press the "OK" button. PICTURE/SOUND PICTURE PICTURE MODE : N R : SOUND RETURN MEMORY NR-1 SEL. O K OK MENU EXIT The "SOUND" screen appears. 3. To adjust the bass ... Use the v and w buttons to select "BASS". SOUND BASS : TREBLE : BALANCE : RETURN SEL. ADJ. MENU EXIT To continue adjusting the sound ... Repeat from step 3. 5. Press the "OK" button. The bass has now been adjusted. SOUND BASS : TREBLE : BALANCE : RETURN SEL. ADJ. MENU EXIT 6. Once the adjustment is completed ... Press the "MENU" button. All menus disappear. Information Ⅵ Sound settings menu BASS Changes the level of low frequency sound. TREBLE Changes the level of high frequency sound. BALANCE .......... Changes the balance of the left and right channels. Ⅵ Restoring the factory default settings Select "RESET" under the function menu. Note that this also restores other settings to the factory defaults. 4. Adjust the bass using the ᮤ and ᮣ buttons. BASS * If neither the ᮤ or ᮣ button is pressed within 5 seconds, the current selection is set and the previous screen reappears. 22
