Page 103 highlights

The Print dialog contains the following options: Windows Option Description Name Select the destination printer from this dropdown list. Properties Change settings for the selected printer. Print to file Check this box to print the image to disk. Scale If the image is larger than the current page size, Select Fit to Page to scale it to fit. Select Resolution to print at a specified resolution. Copies Enter the number of copies of the image to be printed. Macintosh Step 1-Set up your printer Before printing, choose a printer, select a page size, and make adjustments to other settings for your printer using the Page Setup... option in the File menu. The options available in the Page Setup dialog depend on the printer currently selected in the Chooser; see your printer documentation for details. Step 2-Print the image To print the image, select Print from the File menu to display the Print dialog for the type of printer selected in the Chooser. After choosing a printer, specifying the number of copies to be printed, and adjusting the resolution to match resolution of the image, click Print to print the image. OK Click this button to print the image. * If you select the Resolution option for Scale, you can use the following formula to calculate the size of the image when printed: height or width (in pixels) ÷ output resolution (in ppi) = output dimensions (in inches; multipy this value by 2.54 to obtain output dimensions in centimeters) After adjusting settings, click OK to print the image. Step 1—Set up your printer
Before printing, choose a printer, select a page size, and make
adjustments to other settings for your printer using the
Page
Setup…
option in the
File
menu.
The options available in the
Page Setup dialog depend on the printer currently selected in
the Chooser; see your printer documentation for details.
Step 2—Print the image
To print the image, select
Print
from the
File
menu to display
the Print dialog for the type of printer selected in the Chooser.
After choosing a printer, specifying the number of copies to be
printed, and adjusting the resolution to match resolution of the
image, click
Print
to print the image.

If you select the Resolution option for Scale, you can use the
