Getting the Most from Your Scanner Scanner Extras and Analog Gain The Analog Gain and Scanner Extras palettes give you direct control over the following elements of the scanner firmware: 4000 ED, COOLSCAN IV ED, LS-2000, COOLSCAN III Option Description Analog gain Adjusts exposure for each of the colored elements in the scanner's light source. 4000 ED/COOLSCAN IV ED only Option Description Perform If this option is checked, an autofocus opautofocus when eration will be performed when a slide is film is inserted inserted in the MA-20 (S) strip-film (MA-20 (S) only) adapter. The Analog Gain and Scanner Extras palettes give you direct
