The desired editor can be chosen from the menu at the top the LCH Editor palette (see below). The Luminosity Editor Although it affects brightness rather than color, editing luminosity has a similar effect to editing the master curve in the Curves palette. Steepening the curve by, for example, lowering the maximum value for input and raising the minimum value increases the difference between light and dark areas of the image, increasing contrast. Changing the gray point alters the brightness of midtones while preserving details in highlights and shadows. You can also edit specific portions of the curve for more precise control.
