Editing Pictures Picture Editing Functions Use this camera to edit pictures in-camera and store them as separate files (A181). Editing function Quick retouch (A120) D-Lighting (A121) Skin softening (A122) Small picture (A124) Black border (A125) Crop (A126) Application Easily create a copy with enhanced contrast and richer colors. Create a copy of the current picture with enhanced brightness and contrast, brightening dark portions of the picture. Make the subject's skin appear smoother. Create a small copy of pictures suitable for use on web pages or as e-mail attachments. Create a copy with a black frame along border of the picture that provides a little more impact. Crop picture. Enlarge the image or refine the composition and create a copy containing only the portion visible in the monitor. Editing Pictures B Notes on Picture Editing • Editing other than Black border cannot be performed on pictures shot with Image size (A76) of I 3648×2432, G 3584×2016, and H 2736×2736. • This camera's editing functions cannot be used for pictures taken with cameras other than COOLPIX P100. • If a copy created using this camera is viewed on cameras other than COOLPIX P100, the picture may not be displayed or may not be transferred to a computer. • Editing functions are not available when there is not enough free space in the internal memory or on the memory card. • Perform one of the following operations before editing a sequence (A102) for which only the key picture is displayed. - Select a picture while the sequence playback (A102) is paused. - Set Sequence display options (A116) to Individual pictures to display the pictures 118 individually, and then select a picture.
