Charging the Battery Turning On and Off the Camera Remove the lens cap before turning on the camera. Press the power switch to turn on the camera. The power-on lamp (green) will light for a moment and the monitor will turn on. Press the power switch again to turn off the camera. When the power is turned off, both the power-on lamp and monitor turn off. • When the camera is off, holding down the c button will turn the camera on in playback mode (A32). C Standby Mode (Auto Power Off) If no operations are performed, the monitor turns off automatically, the camera enters standby mode and the power-on lamp blinks.
