• The bars on the screen stop scrolling and remain constant when the phone is charged. If you leave the phone connected to the charger, the battery receives an additional charge. 3 • If the battery is completely empty, it may take a few minutes before you can make or receive calls. • The charging time depends on the charger and battery that you use. Note: The battery will accept a "trickle charge" for an additional two hours. For more details, see "Battery information" on page 147. • REMOVE THE BATTERY If you purchase a new battery or need to access information on the phone's label, you may need to remove the battery. Important: Switch off the phone before removing the battery. Important: Do not puncture or burn the battery. Please recycle or dispose of properly. 1 With the back of the phone facing you, press and hold the back cover release button. 2 Slide the cover up, then lift it off the phone. 3 Lift out the battery.
