Automatic Dialing (Handset) Phone calls using the DIRECT button! Storing a telephone number in the DIRECT button You can store a most frequently dialed number in the DIRECT button. Make sure the TALK indicator is off. 1 Press PROGRAM . q The TALK indicator will flash. 2 Enter the telephone number up to 22 digits. 3 Press DIRECT . q A beep sounds. q The TALK indicator will turn off. TALK indicator TALK DIRECT To cancel during programming q Press PROGRAM . To change a stored number q Follow from step 1 and enter a new number. To erase a stored number 1. Press PROGRAM . 2. Press DIRECT . q A beep will sound, and erasing will be completed.
