Other Applications (Changing the Initial Settings) (cont.) Wireless settings Windows XP (SP2): The dedicated utility software is not necessary. Refer to the Windows XP manual for a detailed description. (1) Turn on the projector. (2) Select [Start] → [Connect To] → [Show all connections], and display the [Network connections] window. (3) Right-click [Wireless network connection], and left-click [View Available Wireless Network]. (4) Select the projector's SSID at [Choose a wireless network] ("Panasonic Projector" is the default setting for network [USER]), and then click [Connect To]. Notes: • When encryption (WEP setting) is set by the projector, enter the WEP key (character input) information to [Network Key] before clicking [Connect To]. (default setting: No WEP) • To check the detailed network settings, click the [Wireless network settings] icon at the network connection window. Windows 98SE/Me/2000: Start the utility software for your wireless LAN card to make the settings. See the User's Manual for your LAN card for details. Note: Do not use the utility software during simple connection, as this may cause a problem in connection with the projector. (For instance, the "Projector search in progress" message may appear on the connection select window list.) 35
