Printer Configuration ❖ Energy Saver Mode 1 When this function is enabled, less electricity is used. ❖ Energy Saver Mode 2 When this function is enabled, less electricity is used than under Energy Saver 1. ❖ Energy Saver Mode 2 Timer When [Energy Saver Mode 2] mode is enabled, you can select a timeout period. ❖ B&W Page Detect When this function is enabled, all pages are individually counted and detected as black and white or color. Note ❒ Grayscale pages of indexed colors are counted as black and white pages. ❒ Grayscale pages of sampled colors, for example RGB, are counted as color pages. ❖ Auto E-mail Notification Select whether or not to send e-mail notification of machine status or errors. ❖ Print Error Page Prints an error report if an error occurs during print data processing. ❖ Device Comment Enter a note about the machine, using up to 32 alphanumeric characters. ❖ [Restore Factory Defaults] Resets all settings to their default values. Access Code Select whether or not to use the access code. If you select [Use], the tabs you can see/set may vary depending on the access code settings. If you select [Do not Use], the access code setting screen does not appear before the [Printer Configuration] dialog box. [Do not Use] is set as the factory default. Change it to [Use] if you want access code control. ❖ [Change Access Code...] If you selected [Use] for [Access Code], press this button to change the access code.
