Resolution Resolution lets you change the clarity (in pixels) and size (in bytes) of your pictures. 1. In camera mode, press , then highlight the Resolution setting. The following values appear in the camera screen: • 1280 X 960 (pixels) • 640 X 480 (pixels) • 320 X 240 (pixels) • 176 X 144 (pixels) 2. Select the desired Resolution value. Note: The Resolution setting affects zoom capabilities. When Resolution is set to 1280 X 960, zoom is not available. When Resolution is set to any value lower than 1280 X 960, zoom settings 1 - 8 are available. Adjust the zoom by using the Up and Down Navigation keys. Quality You can affect how much your photo is compressed, thereby reducing it's overall size (not to be confused with resolution).
