The camera zooms images with the original image quality first depending on the selected image size. When [Clear Image Zoom] is set to [On], the camera automatically switches over to [Clear Image Zoom] when the zoom range without deterioration of the original image quality is exceeded. 1. MENU 2 [Clear Image Zoom] desired mode Zooms images with close to the original image quality, depending on the image size. On Switches to [Clear Image Zoom] within the range where is displayed. Off Does not use [Clear Image Zoom]. Notes Perform the following settings before starting this operation. MENU 3 [Func. of C Button], [Func. of AEL button], [Func. of Left Button], [Func. of Right Button] or [Func. of Down Button] select [Smart Telecon./Zoom]. MENU 3 [Smart Telecon./Zoom] select [Zoom]. To zoom images within the range where original image quality can be retained, set both [Clear Image Zoom] and [Digital Zoom] to [Off].
