MENU 1 [Grid Line] desired mode Rule of Placing the main subjects close to one of the grid lines that divide the image into thirds 3rds makes for a well-balanced composition. Grid Square Grid Square grids make it easier to confirm the horizontal level of your composition. This is suitable for determining the quality of the composition when shooting landscape, closeups, or duplicated images.
