Set the mode dial to (Auto Mode). 2. Hold the camera steady as illustrated. 3. Press the shutter button halfway down to focus. When the image is in focus, a beep sounds and the indicator ( ) lights. Focus indicator lights: Image is in the focus. flashes: The focusing is failed. The shortest shooting distance is approximately 0.3 m (1 ft) (from the image sensor). 4.
