Note If you format the built-in memory, all data stored there will be erased. (Protected files and the Help Guide will also be erased.) Note that once the files are erased, you cannot retrieve them. 1. In the stop mode, press MENU to enter the menu mode. 2. Press or to select "FORMAT," and then press PLAY/ENTER. 3. Press or to select "YES," and then press PLAY/ENTER. "ACCESS" appears and the built-in memory will be formatted. 4. Press (stop) to exit the menu mode. Formatting the memory (FORMAT)
You can format the built-in memory, erasing all the data in the memory and
resetting the folder structure to its default status.
Note
If you format the built-in memory, all data stored there will be erased. (Protected
files and the Help Guide will also be erased.) Note that once the files are erased, you
cannot retrieve them.
1. In the stop mode, press MENU to enter the menu mode.
2. Press
or
to select “FORMAT,” and then press
PLAY/ENTER.
3. Press
or
to select “YES,” and then press
PLAY/ENTER.
“ACCESS” appears and the built-in memory will be formatted.
4. Press
(stop) to exit the menu mode.
Hint
To cancel formatting the built-in memory, select “NO” in step 3.
