Note If you format the built-in memory, all data stored there will be erased. (Protected files and the Help Guide will also be erased.) Note that once the files are erased, you cannot retrieve them. 1. In the stop mode, press MENU to enter the menu mode. 2. Press or to select "FORMAT," and then press PLAY/ENTER. 3. Press or to select "YES," and then press PLAY/ENTER. "ACCESS" appears and the built-in memory will be formatted. 4. Press (stop) to exit the menu mode.
