In the stop or playback mode, press MENU to enter the menu mode. 2. Press or to select "N-CUT," and then press PLAY/ENTER. 3. Press 4. Press or to select "ON," and then press (stop) to exit the menu mode. PLAY/ENTER. Descriptions of menu items You can select one of the menu items available. ON: The noise cut level will be adjusted automatically according to the surrounding sound level. OFF: The noise cut function will be turned off. (Initial setting) Note The effect of the noise cut function may be different depending on the condition of the recorded voice. When playing back a recorded file in good sound quality, make sure to set the noise cut function to "OFF." The noise cut function works when you listen to sound through the headphones.
