Filling Chain Oil Tank Closing English 001BA251 KN 001BA252 KN Preparations 1 N Twist filler cap counterclockwise (approx. 1/4 turn). Handle is in an upright position: N Position filler cap - markings on filler cap and housing must align. N Push the filler cap down as far as it will go. 9931BA039 KN 001BA252 KN N Thoroughly clean the oil filler cap (1) and the area around it to ensure that no dirt falls into the tank. N Position the machine so that the filler cap faces up. Opening Markings on filler cap and housing must align. N Push the filler cap down and twist it clockwise until it engages. 001BA253 KN 001BA237 KN N Raise handle. MSE 170 C, MSE 210 C 001BA236 KN N Remove the filler cap. Filling up with chain oil Take care not to spill chain oil while refilling and do not overfill the tank - leave approx. 1/2" (13 mm) air space. N Fill up with chain oil. Preparations
N
Thoroughly clean the oil filler cap
(1)
and the area around it to ensure that
no dirt falls into the tank.
N
Position the machine so that the
filler cap faces up.
Opening
N
Raise handle.
N
Twist filler cap counterclockwise
(approx. 1/4 turn).
Markings on filler cap and housing must
align.
N
Remove the filler cap.
Filling up with chain oil
Take care not to spill chain oil while
refilling and do not overfill the tank –
leave approx. 1/2" (13 mm) air space.
N
Fill up with chain oil.
Closing
Handle is in an upright position:
N
Position filler cap – markings on filler
cap and housing must align.
N
Push the filler cap down as far as it
will go.
N
Push the filler cap down and twist it
clockwise until it engages.
Then the markings on filler cap and
housing will align.
