Be sure to select one of the supported resolutions numbers in the table above. For an external monitor, you can also select any resolution supported by that monitor. Refresh Rate: Be sure to select a refresh rate that is supported for the resolutions and color depth settings, as indicated in the table above. Scaling: Select the screen scaling for the external monitor connected to the dock. Some of these settings are also provided on the Windows® Display Settings screen. To access it, right-click on the desktop and click Display settings. Resolution: click Advanced display settings and select the desired resolution from the drop-down list. Refresh Rate: click Advanced display settings -> Display adapter properties -> Monitor. If you use multiple docks with a single computer, for example, one at work place and one at home, the video settings for each dock are saved when you disconnect the computer. This enables you to have your dock set up with different video settings for different locations. The settings are retained each time you use the dock with your computer. ■ Multiple Displays The Intel HD Graphics allows you to configure multiple displays. Select your preferred Display Mode (Single Display, Clone Displays, and Extended Desktop) on the Multiple Displays screen. You are also allowed to select one or more active displays here. Only a maximum of three monitors will be displayed under Multiple Displays even more than three monitors are connected. User's Manual EN-27
