4.2 Battery 4 Replacement Procedures Removing the Battery Pack Remove the battery pack according to the following procedures and Figure 4.1. CAUTION: When handling the battery packs, use care not to short circuit the terminals. Do not drop, hit, twist, or bend the battery packs. Do not scratch or break up their casing. 1. Turn the laptop upside down. 2. Slide the battery safety lock to the unlock position. 3. Slide the battery release latch and remove the battery pack from the laptop as shown in Figure 4.1. Battery
Removing the Battery Pack
Remove the battery pack according to the following procedures and Figure 4.1.
CAUTION:
When handling the battery packs, use care not to short circuit the terminals. Do
not drop, hit, twist, or bend the battery packs. Do not scratch or break up their casing.
1.
Turn the laptop upside down.
2.
Slide the battery safety lock to the unlock position.
3.
Slide the battery release latch and remove the battery pack from the laptop as shown in
Figure 4.1.
