Chapter 1 Before you start This chapter explains what you should know before you begin using the AW16G. Introduction ■ Check the included items The AW16G package contains the following items. We recommend that you store all important data on CD-R or CD-RW discs or other external storage medium. Note A CD-RW drive (the separately sold CDRW16G) is necessary in order to back up data. ■ Responsibility for loss of data, etc. Yamaha will accept no responsibility for any damages (including consequential or incidental) incurred by the customer or any third party as a result of loss or impairment of the data stored on the CD-R media, regardless of whether such loss could have been or actually was foreseen by Yamaha.
