English SET MENU Items 3. DOLBY D. SET (Dolby Digital Set) s 3A. LFE LEVEL Use this feature to adjust the output level of the LFE (low frequency effect) channel when playing back Dolby Digital encoded software. This setting is effective only when this unit decodes Dolby Digital signals. The LFE signal carries the low frequency special effect sound which is only added to certain scenes. You can adjust the levels from 0 dB to -20 dB. • Adjust the LFE levels according to the capacity of your subwoofer or headphones. s 3B. D-RANGE (Dynamic Range) Use this feature to adjust the dynamic range. This setting is effective only when this unit decodes Dolby Digital signals. Select the "MAX" setting for feature films. Select the "STD" (Standard) setting for general use. Select the "MIN" setting for listening to sources at extremely low volume levels. Note: • When D-RANGE is set to "MIN", sound output may be faint because some Dolby Digital software is not compatible with the minimum level dynamic range.
