If the Bluetooth logo is shown or printed on the top panel, this means that the product is equipped with Bluetooth functionality. Before using the Bluetooth function, be sure to read "About Bluetooth" on page 4. You can input the sound of the audio data saved in a Bluetooth-equipped device, such as a smart phone or digital audio player, to the DTX-PROX and listen to it through the headphones or speakers connected to the DTX-PROX. The input audio data can be recorded. (page 46) * Bluetooth-equipped device In this manual, "Bluetooth-equipped device" refers to a device that can transmit audio data on it to the DTX-PROX using the Bluetooth function, via wireless communication. (i.e., smart phones and portable audio players.) NOTE Bluetooth headphones or speakers cannot be connected.  Pairing with the Bluetooth-equipped device To connect the Bluetooth-equipped device for the first time, the Bluetooth-equipped device and the DTX-PROX must be "paired." Once the device and the DTX-PROX are paired, it is not necessary to pair the two again (unless you've disabled pairing).  Paring "Pairing" means to register Bluetooth-equipped smart devices on the DTX-PROX and establish the mutual recognition for wireless communication between the two. 1. Hold down the [MENU] button. The screen appears while the device is being paired. To cancel pairing, use the button below "CANCEL" ([F3]). Hold down 2. Depending on the country in which you purchased the product, the DTX-PROX may not have
Bluetooth
capability. If the
Bluetooth

Pairing with the

To connect the
Bluetooth
-equipped device for the first time, the

Paring

The screen appears while the device is being paired.

setting ON on the
Blue-
tooth
-equipped device and select “DTX-
PROX AUDIO” from the list.
Make sure to complete the settings on the smart device
within 5 minutes. After that, the pairing mode ends auto-
matically.

“0000.”
