Basic Guide Playing the Pads Playing the Pads To play the Inst sounds, strike the pads connected to the DTX-PROX. You can play different sounds by striking different sections (or "Zones") of the pad, depending on the number of zones available on the pad. When position sensing is available, you can express a subtle nuance by striking different locations within a Zone.
