Turning On the Projector This section describes the procedure from turning on the power to projecting images. Be sure to read the Safety Instructions in this manual for details on safe handling when using the projector. Connecting the Power Cord 1 Check that the power is turned off for all components connected to the projector. 2 Connect the computer or other video source to the projector. Refer to the Setup Guide. 3 Remove the lens cap. 4 Connect the accessory power cord to the projector. Check that the power cord connector is facing the same way as the power inlet on the projector, and then insert the power cord connector securely into the projector. 5 Lights orange STANDBY/ON ESCAPE MENU PATTERN SETTING ASPECT INPUT Connect the other end of the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. The indicator will light orange and the projector will switch to standby mode. 6
