System Menu  Backup Setting (Selecting parameters maintained even when the power is turned off) This lets you set whether some settings of the Backup Setting (below) are maintained or not when the power is turned off. The Backup Setting consists of two groups, "Voice" (including Voice related settings such as Voice selection) and "Other" (including various settings such as Song Repeat and Tuning), which can be set individually. Data and settings maintained even when the power is turned off • User MIDI Song (saved in this instrument's "User" memory) • Bluetooth* ("System" menu) • Utility ("System" menu) • Backup Setting (explained here) * For information on whether Bluetooth functionality is included with the instrument or not, refer to page 8. 1. Press the [FUNCTION] button several times to select "System" menu. 2. Use the [V]/[E] buttons to select "Backup," use the [>] button to call up the next display, then press the [V] button to select "Backup Setting." 3. Use the [>] then the [V] button to select "Voice," then use the [>] button to select "On" or "Off." Each "Voice" contains the following settings: • Voice selection for R1, R2 and L • All the parameters other than Transpose in the "Voice" menu 4. Press the [E] button to select "Other," then use the [>] button to select "On" or "Off." The "Other" contains the following settings: • In the "Song" menu: Song Repeat, Song-Keyboard, Audio Volume, Quick Play, Play Track • In the "Metronome/Rhythm" menu: Volume, BPM, Bell On/Off, Bass, Intro, Ending • In the "System" menu: Tuning, Keyboard (except "Duo"), Pedal, Sound, MIDI • Sound Boost, Master EQ 5. Press the [EXIT] button to exit from the "System" menu display.  Backup (Saving the Backup file for internal data) This lets you save data on internal memory to the connected USB flash drive as a backup file (named "p515.bup"). This backup file can be loaded to the instrument via the Restore function (page 106) for future. NOTICE • It may take 1 - 2 minutes to complete this operation. Never turn off the power during this operation (while "Executing" is shown). Doing so could result in damage to the data. • If the same backup file (p-515.bup) is already saved in the USB flash drive, this operation will overwrite or replace this file with new one. 1. Connect the USB flash drive to the [ ] (USB TO DEVICE) terminal. 2. Press the [FUNCTION] button several times to select "System" menu. 3. Use the [V]/[E] buttons to select "Backup," use the [>] button to call up the next display, then use the [V]/[E] buttons to select "Backup." 4. Use the [>] button to call up the next display, then press the [E] button to select "Execute." 5. Press the [>] button to execute the Backup operation. 6. Press the [EXIT] button to exit from the "System" menu display. NOTE When you want to restore the settings in the backup file, execute the Restore function (page 106). This lets you set whether some settings of the Backup

is turned off. The Backup Setting consists of two

to select “System” menu.

Use the [

then press the [

Setting.”

Use the [>] then the [

] button to select
“Voice,” then use the [>] button to select “On”
or “Off.”
Each “Voice” contains the following settings:
• Voice selection for R1, R2 and L
• All the parameters other than Transpose in the
“Voice” menu

use the [>] button to select “On” or “Off.”
The “Other” contains the following settings:
