Quantize Supplementary Quantize setting range 1/4 quarter note 1/6 quarter note triplet 1/8 eighth note 1/12 eighth note triplet 1/16 1/24 sixteenth note sixteenth note triplet 1/32 thirty-second note 1/8+1/12....... eighth note + eighth note triplet* 1/16+1/12..... sixteenth note + eighth note triplet* 1/16+1/24..... sixteenth note + sixteenth triplet* The three Quantize settings marked with asterisks (*) are exceptionally convenient, since they allow you to quantize two different note values at the same time. For example, when the straight eighth notes and eighth notes triplet are contained in the same part, if you quantize by straight eighth notes, all notes in the part are quantized to straight eighth notes-completely eliminating any triplet feel. However, if you use the eighth note + eighth note triplet setting, both the straight and triplet notes will be quantized correctly.
