These precautions include, but are not limited to, the following: Power supply/power cord • When removing the electric plug from the product or an outlet, always hold the plug itself and not the cord. Pulling by the cord can damage it. • Do not place the product in an unstable position where it might accidentally fall over and cause injuries. • Keep the device and small parts out of reach of children, to keep them from putting their fingers into openings on the product and accidentally being injured. This product has ventilation holes at the top/front/rear/sides to prevent the internal temperature from becoming too high. In particular, do not place the product on its side or upside down. Inadequate ventilation can result in overheating, possibly causing damage to the product(s), or even fire. • When installing the product: - Do not cover it with any cloth. - Do not install it on a carpet or rug. - Make sure the top or side surface faces up; do not install on its front, rear, or upside down. - Do not use the product in a confined, poorly-ventilated location. Inadequate ventilation can result in overheating, possibly causing damage to the product(s), or even fire. If this product is to be used in a small space other than an EIA-standard rack, make sure that there is adequate space around the product: at least 2.5 cm above, and 10 cm behind. • Do not use the separately sold WK-SWR wall mount accessory to attach the unit to a ceiling that is higher than 2 meters. If the unit falls, injury or damage might occur. • If the product is mounted in an EIA standard rack, carefully read the section "Please read before mounting the unit into a rack" on page 20. Inadequate ventilation can result in overheating, possibly causing damage to the product(s), malfunction, or even fire. SWR2311P-10G Owner's Manual 5
