❑ My Surround Specify whether or not "My Surround" is enabled to reproduce a sense of surround sound even in a room not suitable for surround sound playback using sound beams. Settings Off (default) On My Surround is disabled. "My Surround" is enabled. Enjoy playing audio with a good sense of surround sound even in an environment where surround sound playback using sound beams does not provide sufficient surround sound effects. Press the SURROUND key on the remote control for playback using the My Surround function. • To use "My Surround", establish the listening position directly in front of the unit for a greater sense of surround sound. • When "My Surround" is set to "On", CINEMA DSP is disabled. Subwoofer Setup Menu ➜ Beam ➜ Subwoofer Apply or adjust subwoofer settings, such as the connection method and the subwoofer's distance from the listening position. ❑ Bass Out Specify how the subwoofer is connected. Settings Wireless (default) Wired Select to connect the center unit and subwoofer wirelessly. Select to connect the center unit and subwoofer via the subwoofer cable (RCA mono cable) and system control cable (3.5 mm monaural mini plug cable). ❑ Distance Specify the distance from the subwoofer to the listening position. Adjustable range 0.3 m (1.0 ft) to 15.0 m (50.0 ft) (default: 2.5 m (8.5 ft)) ❑ Pairing Manually pair the center unit with the subwoofer. After "Pairing" is selected, press the SUBWOOFER PAIRING button on the subwoofer for three seconds. My Surround
Specify whether or not “My Surround” is enabled to reproduce a sense of surround
sound even in a room not suitable for surround sound playback using sound beams.
Settings
To use “My Surround”, establish the listening position directly in front of the unit for a greater sense of
surround sound.
When “My Surround” is set to “On”, CINEMA DSP is disabled.
Apply or adjust subwoofer settings, such as the connection method and the
subwoofer’s distance from the listening position.
Bass Out
Specify how the subwoofer is connected.

Specify the distance from the subwoofer to the listening position.
Adjustable range
0.3 m (1.0 ft) to 15.0 m (50.0 ft) (default: 2.5 m (8.5 ft))
Pairing
Manually pair the center unit with the subwoofer.
After “Pairing” is selected, press the SUBWOOFER PAIRING button on the subwoofer
for three seconds. For details, refer to “Pairing the center unit and subwoofer” (p. 105).
“Pairing” can be selected when “Bass Out” is set to “Wireless”.
Off (default)
My Surround is disabled.
