Removing needle Loosen the set screw [1] and remove the needle [2]. ! Attaching needle With the flat side facing the front, insert the needle all the way until it meets the end of the needle bar. Tighten the set screw [1] firmly. Note) • Set the needle so that the notched part will come on the rotary hook side. • The needle eye should not be angled to the left (when viewed from the front). ! Selecting needle • When using special threads such as gold, silver, and rame yarn, use a heavy-duty needle (#11~#16). For better finish, paste the waxed paper on the back of the material. • In general, use DB x K5 #11 ~ #18 according to the material thickness.
