Raise the presser foot lever to check that the d side cutter is securely attached. Pass the upper thread under the side cutter, e and then pull it out toward the rear of the sewing machine. Position the fabric in the side cutter. h The cut in the fabric should be positioned over the guide plate of the side cutter.
