Set AppleTalk r Select the BJC-4550 icon from the list of printer drivers in the upper-left area of the Chooser. You may need to scroll down to see the driver. r If any AppleTalk zones exist, select the zone in the lower-left area of the Chooser in which you want to set up the printer. r Select the port to which the printer is connected from the list of ports displayed in the upper-right area of the Chooser. r Make sure Background is On to enable background printing. Sharing Your Printer Over an AppleTalk Network

Select the BJC-4550 icon from the list of printer drivers
in the upper-left area of the Chooser. You may need to
scroll down to see the driver.
If any AppleTalk zones exist, select the zone in the
lower-left area of the Chooser in which you want to
set up the printer.
Select the port to which the printer is connected from
the list of ports displayed in the upper-right area of
the Chooser.
Make sure Background is On to enable background
printing.

For best results when using a Macintosh as a print server,
make sure you turn background printing on. Otherwise,
performance may decrease.
