Halftone Specify a halftone method. Dither is usually best for printing highcontrast graphics and large amounts of text, while Error Diffusion is usually best for printing photos providing a more realistic appearance. Density Adjust color saturation of the printout without affecting color hue. Move the slide bar to the left for less saturation (lighter colors) and to the right for more saturation (darker colors). You can choose a value between -50 and +50. Color Balance Adjust the color hue of the printout. There is one slide bar for each of the four color inks. These are dimmed and cannot be adjusted when Monochrome/Halftone or Greyscale is selected in the Photoshop mode menu. Default button Restore the Color dialog box settings to their original default settings. Using the BJ Standard Monitor Profile The BJ Standard Monitor profile for use with ColorSync is provided with the BJC-4550 to help you obtain the best possible color printing results and to get optimum efficiency from the printer. When selected as the ColorSync profile, the BJ Standard profile optimizes performance for the BJC-4550 and helps to produce clear and vivid color printing. You need to set this selection only once-not each time you print. Halftone

contrast graphics and large amounts of text, while Error Diffusion is
usually best for printing photos providing a more realistic appearance.
Density
Adjust color saturation of the printout without affecting color hue.
Move the slide bar to the left for less saturation (lighter colors) and to
the right for more saturation (darker colors). You can choose a value
between -50 and +50.
Color Balance
Adjust the color hue of the printout. There is one slide bar for each
of the four color inks. These are dimmed and cannot be adjusted
when Monochrome/Halftone or Greyscale is selected in the Photoshop
mode menu.
Default button
Restore the Color dialog box settings to their original default settings.
Using the BJ Standard Monitor Profile
The BJ Standard Monitor profile for use with ColorSync is provided
with the BJC-4550 to help you obtain the best possible color printing
results and to get optimum efficiency from the printer. When selected
as the ColorSync profile, the BJ Standard profile optimizes performance
for the BJC-4550 and helps to produce clear and vivid color printing.
You need to set this selection only onceā€”not each time you print.
