Color dialog box Use the Color dialog box to adjust print colors. Click the OK button to accept the displayed settings and return to the BJC-4550 Plug-In dialog box. You can set the following items: Color Correction Specify whether to make color corrections using ColorSync. When you select either ColorSync 1.0 or ColorSync 2.0, you should also set the Matching Gamma Correction settings. If ColorSync is not available, Color Correction will be set to None. Matching Specify the color matching method for ColorSync color correction. Both Auto and Photo/Graphics selections are suitable for documents mixed with photos and graphics. However, the application program controls color matching when Auto is selected, while the printer driver controls color matching when Photo/Graphics is selected. The selection Spot Color is usually best for color matching in documents that use basic colors. Color Profile Select a color profile to match the paper type. Gamma Correction Specify whether or not to use standard color brightness or to adjust brightness manually. Select Off to print with standard color brightness, or select On to adjust the brightness with the slide bar. Color dialog box
Use the Color dialog box to adjust print colors. Click the
OK
button to
accept the displayed settings and return to the BJC-4550 Plug-In
dialog box.
You can set the following items:
Color Correction
Specify whether to make color corrections using ColorSync. When you
select either ColorSync 1.0 or ColorSync 2.0, you should also set the
Matching Gamma Correction settings. If ColorSync is not available,
Color Correction will be set to None.
Matching
Specify the color matching method for ColorSync color correction. Both
Auto and Photo/Graphics selections are suitable for documents mixed
with photos and graphics. However, the application program controls
color matching when Auto is selected, while the printer driver controls
color matching when Photo/Graphics is selected. The selection Spot
Color is usually best for color matching in documents that use basic
colors.
Color Profile
Select a color profile to match the paper type.
Gamma Correction
Specify whether or not to use standard color brightness or to adjust
brightness manually. Select Off to print with standard color brightness,
or select On to adjust the brightness with the slide bar. Move the bar to
the right for a higher gamma correction and darker color printing.
