Controlling the Temperature of the Fixing Heater The temperature of the fixing heater is switched according to the following two parameters: • Temperature of the fixing heater when the Copy Start key is pressed. • Number of copies to make in continuous copying mode Table 6-102 shows the temperature of the fixing heater when the Copy Start key is pressed (as detected by the thermistor TH1) and the temperatures to which the fixing heater is controlled according to the number of copies made in continuous mode. 6-4 COPYRIGHT © 1999 CANON INC.
