The NVRAM on some I/O controllers is replaced by a 32-pin nonsocketed SRAM component that is soldered onto the card. The SRAM component is made to act like the NVRAM by the addition of some external components, one of which is a 1-inch (2.54-cm) button-type lithium battery. To use the LEDs for troubleshooting the I/O controller, refer to Chapter 6, "Troubleshooting the Installation," the "Troubleshooting the I/O Controller" section on page 6-6. A CPU reset button is located next to the IO power OK LED or the auxiliary port on the I/O controller faceplate. The CPU reset button resets the entire system.
