Section 4 - Troubleshooting INBOUND IP FILTER By default, all incoming IP traffic that does not originate from the internal network is blocked when the firewall is enabled. Normal outgoing Internet requests created by web browsing, email and other software you run will work as usual as the requests originate from inside your internal network. The Inbound Filter allows you to create a filter rule to allow incoming IP traffic by specifying a filter name and at least one condition below. All of the specified conditions in this filter rule must be satisfied for the rule to take effect. To access the
INBOUND IP FILTER
setting window, click on the
Inbound Filter
button in the
ADVANCED
directory.
