3.6.5.3 Audio Tests Page The Audio Tests page (Figure 3-13) and the following procedure will ensure that the audio level into the GTR 200 AUX/Music inputs (listed in Table 3-9) is set to the ideal level for best sound quality and noise rejection. It will also ensure the audio level heard in the pilot headset is at the desired level. Refer to Section 3.6.4 to select the Audio Tests Page. The solid bar represents the average signal level and the vertical line represents the peak level. If the AUX levels are not set correctly, alerts connected to the AUX inputs may be partially or completely muted. The AUX SQUELCH (see Section ) can be adjusted if the AUX input level cannot be set to the proper range. The AUX SQUELCH will not require adjustment from the 30% setting if the input level is set to the proper range. These inputs are not muted. Stereo music input. This input can be muted. 1. Turn on the audio source connected to the AUX/Music input(s). 2. Place the GTR 200 in CONFIG MODE. 3. Select the AUDIO TESTS subpage. 4. Use the LARGE and SMALL Knobs to select the audio source. 5. With the audio source active adjust the audio source output level so the average level is between the two marks on the level bar. 6. Use the LARGE Knob to move to the VOL selection. 7. The Audio Tests page (Figure 3-13) and the following procedure will ensure that the audio level into the

1.
