Temporary license support HP now supports temporary licenses or Universal Temporary Licenses. Standards compliance This software conforms to the FC standards and accepted engineering practices and procedures. The 2408 FCoE Converged Network Switch and DC SAN Director Switch 10/24 FCoE Blade conform to the following Ethernet standards: • IEEE 802.1D, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) • IEEE 802.1s, Multiple Spanning Tree • IEEE 802.1w, Rapid Reconfiguration of Spanning Tree Protocol • IEEE 802.3ad, Link Aggregation with LACP • IEEE 802.3ae, 10G Ethernet • IEEE 802.1Q, VLAN Tagging • IEEE 802.1p, Class of Service Prioritization and Tagging • IEEE 802.1v, VLAN Classification by Protocol and Port • IEEE 802.1AB, Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) • IEEE 802.3x, Flow Control (Pause Frames) The following draft versions of the CEE and FCoE standards are also supported on the 2408 FCoE Converged Network Switch and DC SAN Director Switch 10/24 FCoE Blade: • IEEE 802.1Qbb, Priority-based Flow Control • IEEE 802.1Qaz, Enhanced Transmission Selection • IEEE 802.1, DCB Capability Exchange Protocol (Proposed under the DCB Task Group of IEEE 802.1 Working Group) • FC-BB-5, FCoE (Rev. 2.0.0) New hardware support Fabric OS 6.4.0 introduced support for the following new hardware platform. • DC SAN Director 64-Port 8Gb Fibre Channel Blade-New high density, 64 port, 8Gb fibre channel blade for DC SAN and DC04 SAN directors. Supports E, EX, F, FL and M_Port types, and auto sensing 2/4/8 Gb/s port speed. This blade uses a new form factor SFP (mSFP/mini-SFP). This new mSFP is not compatible with any other B-series products and is required for the 64 port blade.
